THE COLOR OF COVID IS BLACK
COVID-19 is killing people of African ancestry at rates 3.7 times* higher than White people.
Here in the U.S.:
- Black people make up only 12.4% of the overall population.
- Nearly one in four COVID-19 deaths is a Black person.
- One-third of the patients hospitalized with COVID-19 are Black.
